Shimoga
: Shimoga is situated at distance of 110 kms from Udupi. Ten kms from Shimoga enroute to Sagar town is the Lion Safari, started in 1988 is home to all kinds of wild life. It is spread across 400 hectares of dense forest. You can be witness to the grace, diversity, colors, and marvel of nature and catch enlivening glimpses of lions, tigers, cheetahs, bears, deers, and rare migratory birds as they amble around in luxuriant habitat.
