Always seek the advice of a veterinarian before flying with pet and check the types of vaccination required for the country you are traveling to.

Always make sure to have a record of the pet’s vacation history—this will be required when organizing travel and checking the pet in with the airline.

Dogs and cats must be at least eight weeks old and have been weaned for at least five days before the travel.

Pets are easily stressed, especially when they note slightest change in their environment. It’s important to create an atmosphere that smells familiar to them include some of their toys and blankets in their t container.

Before flying, familiarize the pet with the container it will be traveling in.

Make sure the pet drinks plenty of fresh water and gets some exercise before traveling. Make sure they don’t eat solid food in the six hours take off.

Animals have to be at the airport at least one hour to departure as there are several forms that need filled out before they can fly.

It is essential to make sure the pet is wearing a collar when traveling which has its name as well as your and address on it.

It’s a good idea to ensure the pet arrives at its destination during the day to give it plenty of time to sniff around and become familiar with its new surrounding.

Once arriving at destination make sure to spend some quality time with pets and give special attention so that they feel safe in new surroundings.
